How do I make a booking for a ferry service?
You could make a ferry booking, on our direct on-line reservation system. (credit card required) Alternative you could check the timetables and the rates of all the ferry companies from our home page, and you could sent us a reservation request. Fill the booking request form with all the requested data and submit it.
 
I sent a booking request form. How long will it take to get an answer?
If you have fill in the request form all the necessary information, together with a valid e-mail address, you will receive an offer within 24 hours. Hotel reservation from our recommended villas, apartments & hotels takes 3-4 working dates to be answered.
 
What I need to know after having sent you a booking request?
Within 24 hours you will receive an e-mail from us, confirming the receipt of your booking request and an offer according to your data. The offer will be in option basis, waiting from you in this optional period to confirm or to cancel the reservation. Reservation can be paid either by credit card (VISA, MASTER, AMEX, DINERS) or by bank transfer, time permitting. (bank transfer expenses are not included in the cost of the reservation).
 
How do I receive my tickets if I make a reservation with ferryservices?
We can sent you the tickets by registered mail to the mail address that you have given us, (postage charges is €10.00 for every delivery by post) or you will collect the tickets on the day of departure (PTA ticket) from the shipping company’s port office. Have in mind that you have to check your tickets at the check-in desk of the port agency the day of departure. If your tickets do not arrive within the above mentioned time period please contact us immediately so that we can trace the delivery.
 
What is a domestic route ?
Domestic route is any route within Greece ie. From the mainland to the Greek Islands, between the Greek Islands etc.
 
I have booked and paid for a ferry ticket with you. Due to unexpected circumstances I cannot travel. Do I lose my money?
No, you don’t lose your money, as long as you cancel your reservation as soon as possible. Each of the shipping companies has “General Terms and Conditions” for such cases. Cancellations after the day of the departure are not accepted. In any case please inform us immediately. For any refundable amount we hold a 5% cancellation fee and you will be charged for all the bank expences. Also alternative we can make your tickets OPEN (€10.00 alteration fee) in order to use them by 31st December of the same year.
 
Is it possible to change the dates of travel, route etc.?
Yes, it is possible to change the dates or routes of your trip but we cannot guarantee transportation on your desired dates/routes. For every change there is €10.00 alteration fee
 
What guarantee do I have that the ferries will sail as scheduled?
Shipping companies follow their timetables strictly Our booking system cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by third parties, port authorities, strikes or extreme and unusual weather conditions. Schedules are subject to change. (see TERMS & CONDITIONS OF EACH SHIPPING COMPANY)
 
Is the same procedure for a domestic booking to Greece and to a Greek Island?
Yes, we can make bookings to all the Greek Islands. Tickets can only be sent to your mail address. Also domestic schedules are only uploaded to the online reservations system approx. 1-2 months in advance. (postage charges is €10.00 for every delivery by post)

I try to make my reservation but the online system will not let me select the desirable route & ferry. What can I do?
The most probable explanations are that you are either too close to the departure date and the system will not let you proceed with the reservation or that the selected ferry is already fully booked. If you are close to the departure date we recommend contact us to : info@ferryservices.gr or calling our offices (tel +30 2610 455900) and we will help you with your reservation. If you are not close to the departure date please go to our home page, click on the route you want under the ferry company you prefer and fill in a reservation request form. You will receive an offer within 24hours either for the date you want or the nearest date with availability.
